April 8th Ann Arbor RecapSaturday April 8th’s Relay for Life at The University of Michigan kicked off the annual summer slew of GLJs outdoor concerts. The band, along with 3,000+ U of M participants helped to raise $225,000 for the American Cancer Society, making this year’s Relay for Life one of the three biggest in the nation. The GLJs plowed through a set of songs from the new album in front of a multitude of loyal fans and curious onlookers. It’s always great to take part in charitable events such as the Relay for Life and March’s Cancer Awareness Week. The band thanks everyone for supporting the band and, more importantly, the cause.
