En Medias ResWell hello there, some studio updates for the good: Rhythm tracks are done! Along with The Fugitive and Always Be Around, we laid down the foundation for a new take on an old tune (hint, it’s in the Good Luck Joes song book). A. Krei laid down a big guitar tone (think Mr. The Edge of U2) on the new Hotcat 30. And A. Martin’s guitar radiated the scent and very significance of summer from the Blackcat 30, very nice indeed! Andy stroked the synth. And what a sweater! The Immaculate Heart of Darkness Choir, our 21 person glee club (of sorts) stopped by for a group sing. One particular moment lingers in my mind’s eye: Joe P. jumps up and down and conducts, his face a mixture of bliss and unholy rapture, while the girls belt “THIS IS FAR FROM OVER,” like they really mean it. Wow! It was at about that point that I thought that this is what making music should really be like. Thanks to those who came and sang. Love and Mercy, P.G.K.W.
