Just yesterday we found out we were one of two finalists for the LA Music Awards Pop Single of the Year (see below), and today we stumbled upon a glowing blog about us. It’s great chill music, thanks to their careful balance between energy and control.” Good Luck Joes nominated for LA Music AwardsMay 27th, 2008Our single, “Middle of Me,” has been nominated for the Los Angeles’ Music Awards Pop Single of the Year. We would like to thank the academy and all of the good people who have been so kind as to let “Middle of Me” pass through their ears and, subsequently, their hearts. Many people have believed in this song from the start and it is great to see it getting some recognition.
The Good Luck Joes at SummerfestMay 19th, 2008If you see one, and only one, show this summer make it Joe Piscopo at Festa Italiana. We’ll be playing on the Miller stage on June 26th at 8:30pm, just before the new-shoed Paolo Nutini (with a name like that, why isn’t he at Festa?)
