Sellersville, NYC, New Hampshire & E. Hartford all in one!

So we fell a bit behind amidst the hustle and bustle of four shows in four days. Nevertheless, we owe a quick recap of each…Here we go…

Sellersville (6/14): ABC’s bus broke down east of Pittsburgh, causing them to arrive hours behind schedule and pushing the showtime back an hour and a half! Luckily for us, the folks of Sellersville seem extremely congenial and understanding. Not only did they display incredible patience, but they seemed to really enjoy/appreciate the opening act! After the set, we enjoyed an incredible spread at the Theatre’s adjacent restaurant. Que bueno!

New York City (6/15): A packed house at the Canal Room and a great opportunity to do a little browsing in the Big Apple. Everyone at The Canal Room was great to work with again and they really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. We had some friendly faces from back home in Michigan at the show, and it was a great boost of confidence to have some longtime friends in the audience.

Londonderry, NH (6/16): Navigating Northern New Jersey is not our strong point. Between detours, misdirections, and weekend traffic, we somehow managed to make it to the venue with about 15 minutes to spare. Luckily, ABCs talented sound technician, Razz, helped us out BIG TIME and the show went swimmingly. A large portion of the crowd consisted of Peter’s family members. A built in fanbase is always a nice touch in a new place.

E. Hartford (6/17): At times, the lethargy of the road overwhelms you. Luckily for us, the East Hartford Community Center had a baskeball court! I had the lofty task of taking ABC percussionist Matt O’Conner one-on-one. He was scrappy, but I managed to pull out the victory. Yet another solid set to another friendly New England crowd. My favorite was the family in the front row sporting an A, B, and C t-shirt…that’s committment to Martin Fry.

So there’s your quick update. We’re on our way to the Carolinas to wrap up our big adventure. If you’re in the area, check us out. And everyone else needs to check out What Do You Think of That Noise? on iTunes!

Take care,
Andrew M
